We schedule our shows most every weekend of the year however performances are limited to only Friday and Saturday nights so call for tickets soon. We need establishments like yours. The hostess called and explained that the view was in another space called Oliva but that reservations were not accepted in that space. While walking up to the patio, there was a large Bed Bath and Beyond box propped against the walkway which made it appear as though the restaurant was still getting set up. I really like their format of picking out the wine before dinner and paying retail for it rather than 2x or 3x retail at most restaurants.
We enjoyed the ambiance and a couple of glasses of wine. Rated The restaurant is as delicious as it is beautiful. The bananas foster, cherries jubilee and the crepe Suzette were unavailable. Actually see a volunteer from the audience sawn in half. All of our tickets are available for purchase over the telephone by calling the box office. It is offers a warm and friendly atmosphere, yet not ultra casual like many restaurants in Tucson--both in dress and in wait service behavior.
Definitely a go to place. Philip's in the Hills, it's time to have a rest at this restaurant. Solve the crime, and possibly win the prize! We paired the salad with an albarino wine by the glass. We ate the ham and the entrees with a bottle of 2009 Argiano Solengo, a super Tuscan. And, by the way, you can keep up with us all over the web on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, YouTube, Snapchat, and via our email list. The atmosphere lacked attention to detail.
I had the Cioppino which was also very good. Partake in an abundance of the best magic, mystery, murder and mayhem that Tucson has to offer. It took a while for the waiter to come to the table. The food and service was excellent so I canceled our reservations at another upscale restaurant and made reservations for Five Palms for Christmas Eve. Before our Christmas Eve dinner, we enjoyed a glass of wine outside near the fireplace.
They have a great concept of different areas with different concepts, a terrace to admire the sunset behind the mountains at Oliva with Mediterranean inspired food; a fine dine steakhouse with a gourmet pizza brick oven; a live piano bar with a great happy hour menu and oysters, an outside patio with a cozy fireplace ; and a beautiful authentic French cuisine petit bistro that makes you feel in Paris. No tickets are available at the door on the night of the show. This night we did the latter with another couple. There was no wine list, but there was a pick your own wine room. The outside veranda would have been nice but it has been designated cigar friendly, so we quickly retreated inside. Start out with an appetizer such as the baby eggplant makdous or the Five Palms turnover which is a baked puff pastry stuffed with mozzarella, feta, parsley and olive oil.
Five Palms has four different spaces in which to enjoy food and drink. This is the only venue in town where you can enjoy a delicious actor-served candle-lit dinner and a hilarious murder mystery 3-act play with a magic show. Adventurous wine enthusiasts are encouraged to sign up for various wine tastings held at the venue. The service did get better as the meal went on. These are the two things that will draw us back, however, it will be for appetizers and desserts and not for special occasions as we had hoped.
This was the second time we have eaten at this restaurant. We're also always on the lookout for interesting and intriguing stories. You do not have show seating until you buy your ticket s. We went upstairs for the seafood cart. I picked that out in Five Palms' wine shop before dinner. It was nice of them to offer a complimentary dessert because we were celebrating our anniversary and that was delicious.
The lamb is on the menu and the fish was a special. The food, wine and service were excellent. My wife had the Sea Bass which was excellent. Rated I initially went to Five Palms when it first opened. Food was just ok and service was less than ok.
She recommended we keep our reservations in the dining room and that we could go to Oliva if a table was available. We're always looking for phenomenal writers, photographers, videographers, social media experts, marketers, news hounds, viral content creators and curators, and designers. This spot offers you fine prices for flavorful meals. The service was spotty at the beginning. Take a full three course table-served fine dining experience; combine it with a classic, hilarious 3-act, interactive Comedy Murder Mystery Whodunit; throw in the setting of an award winning Magic Performance and be prepared for one of the most unique and memorable experiences of a lifetime. We liked the choice of fine fare and Mediterranean casual dinning.
Ross the Magician who headlines the magic in the show is an accomplished professional magician who has performed everywhere from the Las Vegas strip to the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood where he has also lectured to other magicians on magic technique. Everything was impeccable in the dining room. Though we mostly have sold-out performances, we do occasionally have day of show tickets so it doesn't hurt to try. It's a suitable place for the decent entertainment. We liked the patio setting upstairs and the live music in both places.
