The topic is the "Future of the Internet", and one of the more interesting things that will be discussed is Wikia's new wiki-based search engine being worked on. With my recent involvement in trying to promote BarCampOrlando, seeing this kind of content on T.V. and especially in politics is a very pleasant surprise. I came across this flipping through channels and landing on C-SPAN right as the text blurb about Jimbo flashed by. They were talking about the Baghdad Embassy Contruction and mentioned a word that sounded very close to BarCamp... so I was REALLY excited for a second there =p I also recently sent out a personal email to Jimbo asking him for any involvement whatsoever in BarCampOrlando, since he lives in St. Pete, Florida and was quoted in the local Orlando Sentinel complaining about the lack of BarCamps and unconferences in the area.
