A cruise control feature — similar to operating a car or pick up — eases operator fatigue. I tried taking a bottom off but it just didnt work right that way. I got the front bracket that mounts to the sides of the tractor but don't have the lifting mechanism. Rockshaft yes with linkage on it ,wishbone assy that goes on the steering sector then depth lever mounting on the bell housing and of course the lift lever that mounts on the drivers platform. Even if you had a set of frame weights and 2 set of wheel weights on the front, what would that weigh, 350lbs. John and George were supposed to follow ages ago, but apparently have gone awol. . It has Plow Chief slat bottoms. The date of the manual is 1937. The adjustable seat lets you customize your comfort and tilts forward to help it stay dry and clean. But I had a standard 720 plow with adapters which was semi-mount not full.
I'm curious why a plow harrow didn't work on a mounted plow. I know those plows are somewhat rare at least in this area and parts will be hard to come by. The picture I posted is of the C-295A plow. I have some of the parts if you can find one. If its covered with sod or dirt backing up may make it somewhat easier. As already stated, you can change the angle by just pulling a pin.
I'd finished up the last of the old corn ground and moved across the fence, dropped into 2nd gear, normal sod plowing gear, dropped the plow in with the harrow, and the tach would only come up to around 1400. If I was going to plow at a plow day I think I'd be O-K pulling 3-16's with one today. The A was available with the pneumatic Lift-All attachment, powered by exhaust gases, for lifting implements.
